Sales Order Terms and Conditions 

The following are the terms and conditions regarding the purchase of your new merchandise. 

  1. If ordered, we will place your furniture on order with the manufacturer upon down payment, in full, or financing for full amounts. 2. Merchandise sold "AS IS" will not be eligible for exchange, allowance, refund or service. 
  2. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. 

-Your furniture purchase will be immediately ordered from the manufacturer. 

-Once we commit the order, we are unable to cancel or change it. 

-With this in mind, please consider the following when selecting your furniture: 

  1. Have you properly measured not only the size of the furniture, but also the access to the destination room? (i.e. narrow hallways, doorways, etc.) 
  2. Are you thoroughly happy with not only the color and style of the furniture, but also the design, style and fabrication? 3. Will all of it fit in the room? (Note that our display area tends to make furniture smaller than it is.) 

-There will be a 20% restocking/cancellation fee on all returnable items, EVEN IF ITEMS HAS NOT BE DELIVERED. This fee does not apply to "AS IS" available items. Remaining balance will be an in store credit. NO REFUNDS 

-In the event that a furniture item is damaged upon arrival, we will repair it to a new condition or replace it at the manufacturer's discretion. -CUSTOMER MUST REPORT ANY DAMAGE WITHIN 48 HOURS OF RECEIPT OF FURNITURE 4. We cannot store your furniture. 

  1. We cannot guarantee a specific arrival date. . 

-The tentative delivery date indicated to you is our best estimate based on information at the time of sale according to the manufacturer. On some occasions, your furniture will arrive sooner and on others it might take longer. 

-Bargain City Furniture is not responsible for delayed or backordered merchandise. 

-Cancellations may not be made due to delay or backordered merchandise. 

  1. About your delivery. 

-Delivery includes preparation and assembly of furniture pieces and delivery to ONE address. 

-Failure to be at residence for a delivery appointment will result in an additional delivery charge to re-deliver your merchandise. -Prior to our arrival, customers should remove all furniture and clear pathways to assure unobstructed access for our delivery team. -We cannot move electronics, TV's, computers, etc., or cut backs of armories or entertainment centers. 

  1. Customer pick-up option. 

-Your furniture may require assembly. 

-Pickup hours are 9am-5pm Tuesday through Saturday. You must arrive by 4:30pm to pick up. 

-You must present your Bargain City Furniture receipt upon time of pick up. 

-If there is a problem during the assembly, or a type of damage, you must transport the merchandise back to the warehouse or pay a service charge for in-home technician service. 

-In-home service is not included with pick ups. Assembly fees range depending on furniture. 

-We are not responsible for damage that occurs due to improper loading. 

-Warehouse pickup location is 60 West Davis Rd. Cookeville, TN 38506. 

Caring for Your Furniture 

  1. Never use a glass cleaner on finished furniture. Ammonia will chemically attach the lacquer. Never allow liquids of any kind to remain on the furniture, as an absorption causes wood to warp and finishes to delaminate. This includes cold items that might leave condensation. Do not write directly on the surfaces. Do not place it in direct sunlight. Do not use rubber based placemats. Do not use waxes and polishes. Do not place hot kettles, pots, plates, etc. on the surface. Do maintain even humidity conditions in your home. To clean, simply use a soft dry cloth to remove dust or debris on wood surfaces. Each fabric has a different content and reacts differently to cleaners, and for that reason we recommend a professional. 
  2. Mattress precautions: As with all manufacturers, in order to maintain the integrity of the manufacturer's warranty, the following must be adhered to: the mattress and box spring MUST BE FREE FROM ALL STAINS AND SLATS OR RAILS MUST BE USED. The manufacturer's warranty is void if not followed on mattresses. All law tags must be attached. 
  3. Please refer to the warranty information that was provided with your merchandise. Your product warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, including warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. There are no expressed or implied warranties which extend beyond your limited product warranty, if provided. Warranties apply only to the original purchaser. All claims must have original Bargain City Furniture receipts. All warranty claims must be first applied through the manufacturer, then after may be brought to the attention of Bargain City Furniture.
